Family Reunion 2016.
We spent a few days at a house in between Zion and Bryce Canyon with the whole Jackson fam at the end of July. The house had plenty to entertain: pool, ping pong, horseshoes, foosball, and a million foot zipline that did not disappoint. Still, we spent some time in the parks since we were already down there and basked in the beauty that makes Southern Utah home to three national parks. (Some of these pics belong in the post about Zion, but whatev.)
Utah. The south.
Waiting for the bus to take us to the Narrows. Summertime in Zion in no joke.
Me and my adorbs hiking partner.
The kids with the "fun" aunts and uncles.
Right before the insane ascent to Angel's landing.
Anna and I enjoying the view at the top.
We went for an all-out swim in the Virgin River after our hike. I had to scrub the salt from my face I had sweat so much.

Utah 2016, the northern part.
Anna and Lily attended Chip Camp and Chem Camp(respectively) at BYU so Rachel, Eve, Jack and I romped around BYU campus, went to museums and hiked the Y.
We took our kids to the Conference Center for the first time ever and attended the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Pioneer Day Concert. The King Singers were the guest performers - it was the best free concert I've ever attended. I love that the church provides such amazing entertainment at no cost, filling the world with uplifting music.
Eve was delighted at the size of her baby...er, zucchini plucked straight from Grandma's garden.
The hike to Timpanogos Cave.
Jack's total meltdown near the end of our cave tour.

Happy birthday America!
Throwing it back to 1776, I hung our laundry on the line for the 4th. (Our dryer broke, my deprivation wasn't patriotic or anything.)
A splash of firework art.
Fireworks at the neighbor's with my little dude.
Happy day to celebrate our wonderful country!
