Six.

My baby is six and the world is coming to an end.

She celebrated at school with cupcakes, at home with presents, and with her friends during an "art party".  Eve is a delightful child with a quick wit and carefree demeanor.  She stuns at math for such a young one and can hold her own in reading (though because she's not reading the chapter books her sisters were at the same age, they've somehow pinned her as a "late bloomer" - though they haven't said so to her face, thankfully).  She's got fantastic pitch - one of her shining moments in the last year was when she sang a solo at Rachel's baptism - the sweetness and perfection of her voice and spirit was enough to make anyone cry.  We are so incredibly blessed that she came to our family six years ago.

At her party, we had three stations:  "Paint your own masterpiece."
                                                                           Spin Art
                                                                     And Shrinky Dinks

They loved all of them, though the spin art was probably the biggest hit.  Thanks to Anna for manning that station.

We hung their paintings in the living room and sent them home with the kids.  A little ambitious for a party of 10 six-year-olds but it was a roaring success!  Happy birthday Miss Eve!

I can't believe your youngest is six! No wonder I feel like such a parenting rookie next to you, my oldest is only a year and a half older than your youngest. I do appreciate your parenting example and can't wait to pick your brain this summer!
