Nope, no aliens here. Only motorcycles.

We woke up bright and early the next morning to tackle the girls' first cave experience.  First we had to check and see if we qualified for the "Wild Cave Tour" - just your basic circumference check, and then we signed all six of us up for the not-so-wild 1 1/2 hour tour.

                                        Eve was clearly mesmerized by the formations.
Two out of our four children said that Jewel Cave was their favorite part of the entire trip and thanked us profusely for taking them there.  Definite win.

As for Devil's Tower, our next stop, it was definitely one of those places that makes you go, huh?  A giant cindercone in the middle of nowhere.  I'm sure Close Encounters of the Third Kind had nothing to do with the eerie sense of wonder we felt there.  We got our first whole-family picture of the trip.

Then bade goodbye to our biker friends (for the most part) to head west across Wyoming.
